The Baiia Charity Bikinis

The Baiia Charity Bikinis

Woven into the very essence of Baiia is our vision and purpose to achieve connection, empower women, honour sustainable practice and continuously give back to the community. Our values have been an integral part of our every step, and we truly believe we wouldn't be the women we are today without them.

This season we’ve chosen to give thanks to the women in our lives and the planet around us, by carefully selecting two initiatives working to make a change with our charity bikinis. We’re proud to be donating 10% of sales from the Sangria Bikini to Pink Ribbon by Cancer Council, and 10% of sales from the Appletini Bikini to Daintree Rainforest Rescue from November - December 2021.

PINK RIBBON

Did you know every day in Australia, around 65 women are told they have breast or gynaecological cancer?

Cancer Council estimated that over 19,000 women in Australia will be diagnosed with breast cancer in 2020. Sadly, it is estimated that almost 3000 of those women diagnosed with breast cancer in 2020 will die of the disease. With such a high percentage, most women have devastatingly experienced the hardship of going through or knowing someone close to them battle breast cancer.

The Pink Ribbon campaign aims support breast and gynaecological cancers through awareness, support services, and research. We carefully selected this initiative because of their continued work and efforts to make change and free our futures from cancer. We’re proud to be donating 10% of the Paisley Sangria bikini sales to this important cause. Help us reach our goal by the end of the year and support this amazing Australian charity and Australian women.

DAINTREE RAINFOREST RESCUE

“Know what’s important, think of tomorrow”.
For the Baiia team there is nothing more important than giving respect to the Earth, caring for our planet and paving the way for generations ahead. That’s why we selected the Daintree Rainforest Rescue to partner with.

The Daintree Rainforest Rescue aims to restore and rescue the Daintree Rainforest, home to 30% of Australia's marsupial species and 20% of its reptile species. Their mission is to protect rainforests forever with their buy back project. Buying back privately owned blocks of the Daintree Rainforest increases the habitat for rare and endangered Australian species. By protecting this rainforest from development and destruction it increases essential wildlife habitat.

For every Appletini Bikini sold, 10% of sales will be donated to Daintree Rainforest Rescue so that we do our part in helping support endangered Australian wildlife and habitat.
