Not exactly! While our suits are true to Australian standard sizing, it’s common for women to size down in Baiia suits. The reason for this is because we most commonly recommend sizes based on measurements rather than dress sizes, so many women find their best fit in a different size to what they typically wear in clothing. 

If two or more of your measurements fit within one size, we tend to recommend that one for the perfect fit. If your measurements span three or more sizes, we tend to recommend taking the one in the middle. If you feel you have a particularly short or long torso, you may find a better fit in one size down or up. The major difference between the two styles is how many pieces they're composed of.

​The 3-piece Wrapsuit consists of 1 chest piece, 1 body piece and 1 detachable tie; all together they complete a full swimsuit, which you can then reverse, and mix & match with other Wrapsuits to create multiple unique looks. ​

​The 4-piece Bikini consists of the Bikini top made of 2 chest pieces and 1 detachable tie, and the ultra-high waisted Bikini Bottom  - equalling 4 pieces when purchased all together! The Bikini can be worn like a classic Bikini style or made to look like a Wrapsuit, as well as mix & matched with other Bikinis.

"I received a lot of compliments on my suit. I like the top more than the bottom, I would size down for the bottoms next time. I measured myself and ordered what was suggested based on my measurements and that the description said the fabric would feel tight. It does not feel as supportive as I hoped and rolling the top of the piece down is not the look I like, and just not firmly tight like I prefer. However, the product itself is designed impeccably for comfort, style, and the ties that come with it are essential for the cinched look, which is slimming."

As a HH bust this

"As a HH bust this is the first bikini top I've ever felt comfortable in! If the straps were shorter it would be 100% perfect but obviously ever body is different dimensions and what's perfect for one person is not perfect for another. To combat this I just use one of the ties to tie up the straps at the back of my neck, giving a halter-neck look and maximum support."

The fabric and quality are

"The fabric and quality are excellent, however the garment does not fit my body shape. Also beware that the fabric sits extremely tightly on the body. I personally find this oppressive and restricting. With the wrap top, it fits tight around my ribs, while gaping more than I'd like at the chest. Baiia will not accept returns for a refund so choose carefully. As I was unable to try on the garment prior to purchasing, I took a leap for faith with this purchase. However, it has been a waste of a considerable amount of money for me."

Love these! Worth the price and great to support an Australian brand

"Lervvvv these! Such a great design, super comfortable and love the reversible wearing options. Yes they are expensive but I figured I was getting four or five different styles for the price. I originally ordered the wrong size in another pair, however, that mistake along with the many videos posted by Baiia managed to get me the right size. This cut of these pieces works perfectly for my body shape and I love that there is the option to mix and match top and bottom sizing. Baiia customer service is super fantastic - quick responses, willing to assist with exchanges where the mistake was clearly mine and just generally, helpful and pleasant to deal with. Waiting on the exchange of the original pair I purchased (Cosmopolitan) in the wrong size and cannot wait to receive them. So, yes, love these so much that I ordered two pairs!"

Flattering!

"I love wearing just one shoulder look to get sun on each side. I have D cups in the size 6 so it just barely works with my boobs. If boobs are too big for the strapless look although I can make the around the neck version almost work. I haven't been bored with the options I do have, just pointing out that A to C cups could easily do all of the looks! I love the green print! I'm currently backpacking in the tropics with a very small backpack and I'm using it a lot! It is a snug fit so when I'm done at the beach I normally want to take it off right away, but that's what makes it so flattering! Overall intelligent design! Worth the money."
