Fabric

This bikini top is made with a recycled, blended Nylon fabric crafted from ocean waste. This nylon blend has a more relaxed fit than our classic recycled polyester bikini tops. If you are after sculpting and shape-wear like qualities in this product we do recommend sizing down.

Our signature Italian swimwear fabrics are made using regenerated nylon thread from pre and post-consumer waste.This luxuriously soft, yet firm fabric offers bust support for A to H cup. As this piece features shape-controlling properties and high technical performance, please expect it to feel firmer than regular swimwear.

Not exactly! While our suits are true to Australian standard sizing, it’s common for women to size down in Baiia suits. The reason for this is because we most commonly recommend sizes based on measurements rather than dress sizes, so many women find their best fit in a different size to what they typically wear in clothing. 

If two or more of your measurements fit within one size, we tend to recommend that one for the perfect fit. If your measurements span three or more sizes, we tend to recommend taking the one in the middle. If you feel you have a particularly short or long torso, you may find a better fit in one size down or up. We suggest emailing us at fitexpert@baiia.com.au prior to purchase if you have any questions or concerns about your correct size.

Our fabrics are resistant to suncream and oils, but we still recommend taking care when wearing sunscreen and/or makeup, as well as taking care to remove marks as soon as possible to prevent staining.

A common ingredient in sunscreen known as avobenzone can contribute to stains, so you may wish to use sunscreens without this component.

The major difference between the two styles is how many pieces they're composed of.

​The 3-piece Wrapsuit consists of 1 chest piece, 1 body piece and 1 detachable tie; all together they complete a full swimsuit, which you can then reverse, and mix & match with other Wrapsuits to create multiple unique looks. ​

​The 4-piece Bikini consists of the Bikini top made of 2 chest pieces and 1 detachable tie, and the ultra-high waisted Bikini Bottom  - equalling 4 pieces when purchased all together! The Bikini can be worn like a classic Bikini style or made to look like a Wrapsuit, as well as mix & matched with other Bikinis.

I adore this top but

"I adore this top but if I had to choose between the one piece wrap and the two piece triangles, I would go with the triangles I think! I like that I can wrap this as tight as I want, but I find the wrap pieces are SUPER long and I have to wrap them around twice which is just too much fabric for my preference. Do I still love this? Absolutely. Its adjustable, reversible and basically six tops in one, its too good! I am 5'7" and 145lbsnwith a 34C chest and I am wearing a 6US. I do think I could have done a 4US, but I find the arm holes a bit small in the 6, so I am happy I went with this size."

Sumptuous Color

"I bought the one-piece wrap around top, thinking I'd wear it as a tankini, but it looks better as a V-neck suit. Not a big deal, because it looks great. If I weren't taking it away on holiday soon, I'd exchange it for a size up. I went one size down from the bottoms (as recommended). The bottoms fit perfectly, and the top does fit, would boost the side cleavage more if it were a size up. I'm short, c-cup and ordered a 10. I'd go 12 next time. I'm fully expecting I'll lose the little gizmos with the snaps. But, no matter, it looks great without them."

I love this top so

"I love this top so much but I think if I got another one I'd size up. My boobs are medium/big, but wideset and I have broad shoulders. So when I wrap for the bikini side to show more cleavage, its perfect. But when I turn the top so its more of a tank top with the high neck, it feels and looks slightly small. Absolutely stunning top and so versatile, I wear it to beach, skate in, or for days at the zoo. But if you're athletic and broad shoulders with biggish boobs (or implants), maybe size up."

I reached out to the

"I reached out to the fit expert and I was advised to size down in the top to a 4. My measurements had me firmly as a 6. Unfortunately, the size 4 was not enough fabric to give any coverage of my 32DDD boobs. I understand a smaller cup size loving the cleavage, but I wear bathing suits around my 3 sons and I don’t think me or they want to see so much of their mother’s breast. I returned everything, but I am now wondering if the bigger top would have worked. Waiting on my store credit to figure out what to do."
