I recently encountered a less-than-ideal situation with Baiia Swimwear, and I feel it's important to shed light on the issues I faced, particularly in terms of quality control and customer service.
Following the company's strict guidelines, I exchanged a swimsuit without wearing it and in impeccable condition. I paid the exchange fee as I realized that this was their policy but unfortunately, the replacement I received raised concerns about Baiia's quality control measures. The swimsuit had numerous white marks, seemingly from deodorant and lotion, indicating a lack of inspection before shipping it to me.
In addition to the cosmetic flaws, one of the ties had stitching on the outside, a detail Baiia dismissed as "normal" and attributed it to an oversight by their packing team. When I reached out to address these issues with their customer service, I was met with an accusatory tone. Rather than acknowledging the lapses in quality control, I was unfairly accused of marking up the suit and advised to handle the stitching issue myself and no option to exchange the item.
Baiia Swimwear imposes a considerable $25 fee for exchanges, amplifying the disappointment of the overall experience. I was shocked that they didn’t even suggest that I could exchange the items. It is frustrating to be met with such a response, especially when sticking to their exchange guidelines perfectly.
