With sculpting support and a double-sided design in vintage polka dot and jet black, the Dorothy Bikini Bottoms balance playful charm with effortless performance. Thoughtfully made to flatter and designed to move with you, they hold more than your shape… they hold the feeling of being completely, quietly confident in your own skin.

Finished with binding at the leg openings to ensure a snug fit that securely holds your cheeks in.

Fabric

This bikini bottom is made with a recycled, blended Nylon fabric crafted from ocean waste. This nylon blend has a more relaxed fit than our classic recycled polyester bikini tops. If you are after sculpting and shape-wear like qualities in this product we do recommend sizing down.

  • To avoid fabric from drying out, ensure any sand is removed from the garment.

I'm really struggling, since weight

"I'm really struggling, since weight loss which has vitually left me with no bum, to find swimmer bottoms which don't gape and flap around my bum. I've gone down a size in the Limoncello Reversible Bikini Bottoms and still a little flappy, however due to the high level of adjustment available, I can really pull the bottoms up into a high cut at the back while still maintaining coverage in the front, and they're still comfy. I'm short waisted so I'm folding the excess at the top over. It would be great if there was a ruched style available though for those with my issue, because at 67yo I'd prefer not to have it so high at the back."

I loved the suit but

"I loved the suit but it was too small and needed a simple exchange, now I will be asking for a refund . I sent my order back for a size exchange a month ago and have not received a email confirmation that you even received it. I emailed your company 2 weeks ago for a status update and was told they would be processing my exchange soon but so far no other communication. You seem to be able to send a ton of marketing emails but not updating customers on orders."

"Size tip for North American girlies: measure yourself before ordering, and err on the larger size if in doubt. The bottoms do seem (to me) to fit small. Either that, or I’m in denial about my growing perimenopausal posterior ;) Regardless, I’m happy with my purchase, and the versatile looks I can get between this and the wrap top! "I really like how high it goes, you can make it look like a one piece. Once on it’s really comfy but I get what people mean it’s not a stretchy ad a normal swimsuit. Q&A

Behind the Design

It was 2016, I had just stepped into womanhood, and with that, was accepting the new shape my body was taking. I was looking for a swimsuit that actually made me look like the woman I knew I was, but was also becoming. Something that accentuated my shape, held me the way I now needed to be held, moved with my body across every season of my life, and came from a place of care for the environment around me. I couldn’t find it. So I decided to make it myself.

I became hooked on creating the dream swimsuit, pieces that didn’t ask you to mould yourself into them, but instead moulded themselves around you. Reversible designs that give you more, unique sizing that honours your shape instead of boxing it, cuts that work whether you’re 29 or 79, pre-baby or post-everything.

Before I knew it, I found myself surrounded by an incredible community of women from everywhere, every size, every stage. They weren’t looking for the “latest trend” or an Instagram moment in a bikini. They just needed swimwear that actually worked:

  • Pieces that held them, supported them, made them feel like themselves
    Reversible cuts that gave them options, not limitations
  • Sizing that didn’t make them feel like they had to change to fit the mould
    Designs that moved through their seasons with them, not against them

That’s what Baiia is built on, women supporting women, and the belief that feeling good in a swimsuit shouldn’t require you to change yourself. That’s the swimsuit’s job.

I’m not here to make aspirational pieces for photoshoots. I’m here to make timeless designs that make you feel held, supported, celebrated, exactly as you are, even on the days you don’t feel like it. Because you deserve swimwear that loves you back.
