Fabric

This bikini bottom has two sides: one is made of Polyester, and the other is made of Nylon. Both of which are Italian-made and recycled. The Nylon side is matte and more flexible than the Polyester side. Bikinis featuring both our signature polyester and nylon fabrics are more flexible than those with only Polyester.

Our signature Italian swimwear fabrics are made using regenerated polyester thread from pre and post-consumer waste. As this piece features shape-controlling properties and high technical performance, please expect it to feel firmer than regular swimwear.

"The swimsuit was beautiful and the material is very high quality. I loved the colour and the versatility. Unfortunately my usual size ran too small (couldn’t get the pants over my thigh to try on) and the top’s arm holes were so small they dug into shoulders. I’ve returned it for the next size up but the return is taking a long time to process. I would recommend sizing up to save yourself the trouble of returning and the lengthy wait confirming the swap."

"The suit was extremely restrictive. It also cut in at the legs so any body sculpting was irrelevant. The fabric was high quality and beautiful, but just didn’t look great on me. I sent it back and plan to change sizing and try again with a different print. Additionally the return policy is quite unfortunate. Such an expensive product to be completely non-refundable ."

Love the fantasy

"I wanted to love this- the pattern is lovely, and my favourite colour. I upsized just in case because it's swimwear- nope. Wouldn't even fit over my thighs. My usual size is a 12 (AU) and these made me feel I was at least an 18+. I feel like the sizing is more aligned to China than to Aus."

Breaking it in is annoying.

"Breaking it in is annoying. Purchased for a trip didn't expect to have muscle my way into the suit. The 2 piece top is uncomfortable. With 3 layer( 2 top pieces +bottom ) all meeting at the same point the bands dig into my skin. And while the compression is nice when you stand, if your are laying pool side it just makes you look like a stuffed burrito. I'm 5'4 , size 6, 139 lbs and by no means obese, but this suit just make me feel huge! In addition, the inner lining of the suit keeps poking out everywhere doesn't matter which way I flip the suit. I can't keep the inner lining in its place, and it drives me nuts. The leg bottoms hole has no support on the edges so it keeps just writing up. . it just makes the suit look ill, fitting, and sloppy."

"This is the second swim suit I have ordered from Baiia. I enjoyed the first one so much that I didn't even shop around when looking for a new suit. Now, after getting my new suit, I'm so sad that there is a malfunction with it. What makes it even worse is I'm discovering this malfunction 3 days before leaving for the trip for which I purchased the suit."

"Fits true to size for me, nice and snug. Still think its overpriced for what you get. No refunds which is easier for the company but difficult for the customer to manage. Wearing the wrap top backwards doesnt actually look right, the cut around the arms doesnt translate quite right at the front."

The material is high quality.

"The material is high quality. However, it has no stretch. What that means, is that although I followed their online size guide, I was unable to get any of the pieces on to my body. So, I spent a lot of money for a bikini that does not fit. And I’ve since learned that returns are a little complicated and that I’ll have to pay to ship the pieces back. I think especially when we’re talking about something as finicky as swim wear, the process to return and resize should be as smooth as possible. I’m now hesitant to go through this process again and I’m likely to be a “one and done” customer"
